Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering

  • 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience

  • Electrical engineering background

  • Experience investigating or reviewing electronic circuits and components

  • Knowledge of applied statistics and engineering data analysis

  • Experience working within regulated quality-system processes and procedures

  • Ability to manage technical project deliverables and established deadlines

  • Experience preparing technical engineering documentation

Preferred Skills

  • 2–3 years of medical device industry experience

  • Experience performing physical analysis of medical devices

  • Knowledge of medical device therapy products

  • Experience supporting hazard analysis and risk assessment activities

  • Experience with trend management and product-performance monitoring

  • Experience conducting CAPA investigations

  • Experience supporting quality-system escalations and field assessments

  • Knowledge of post-market complaint tracking, trending, and analysis requirements

  • Knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements

  • Experience working with Medical Safety, Design Assurance, Returned Product Analysis, Supplier Development, or Manufacturing teams

Job Responsibilities

  • Investigate and review electronic circuits, components, and device-level electrical issues

  • Analyze product data to identify complaint, failure, and performance trends

  • Perform technical and statistical analysis of post-market product information

  • Support physical analysis of returned medical devices

  • Document investigation methods, findings, conclusions, and recommended actions

  • Support hazard analyses and risk assessments related to product trends

  • Evaluate potential product, patient, and regulatory risks

  • Participate in CAPA investigations, quality escalations, and field assessments

  • Support post-market complaint tracking, trending, and reporting activities

  • Ensure investigation and analysis activities comply with applicable quality-system procedures

  • Prepare technical reports and supporting regulatory documentation

  • Coordinate technical investigations with medical safety, design assurance, returned-product analysis, supplier development, and manufacturing functions

  • Track assigned engineering projects and complete required deliverables

Pay: 30-37/hr

Pay Details: $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
