Job Requirements

  • Five or more years of relevant embedded software verification experience
  • Experience with DO-178C DAL A or DAL B requirements-based verification
  • Experience with low-level software integration and verification
  • Experience developing and executing unit tests
  • Embedded C++ development experience
  • Ability to work onsite

Preferred Skills

  • Experience developing software requirements under DO-178C DAL A or DAL B
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or another STEM discipline
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in place of a degree

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform requirements-based verification for safety-critical embedded software
  • Develop, execute, and document unit-level software tests
  • Integrate and verify low-level embedded software components
  • Review software requirements for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and testability
  • Analyze test results and document software defects
  • Maintain verification evidence and traceability required for DO-178C compliance
  • Support verification activities for DAL A and DAL B software
  • Develop and maintain embedded C++ test code and supporting verification tools


Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
