Remote Clinical Specialist

Delivers clinical application training and technical support for cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology imaging systems throughout North America.

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Technologist credential through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Active advanced certification in at least one of the following:
  • Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
  • Cardiac Interventional Radiography
  • Vascular Interventional Radiography
• Active Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist credential may be accepted as an alternative
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology, or 2 years of field applications experience
• Experience operating clinical imaging and interventional systems
• Experience delivering clinical application training in hospitals or outpatient facilities
• Ability to assess and document user competency
• Ability to maintain applicable professional licenses and certifications
• Ability to complete required continuing education
• Ability to travel overnight up to 80% throughout North America
• Ability to maintain training, administrative, and equipment records

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with advanced cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology applications
• Experience with intravascular imaging systems
• Knowledge of adult-learning methods
• Experience awarding or documenting continuing education credits
• Experience developing clinical protocols, sample images, training materials, and technical tips
• Experience troubleshooting clinical software and application issues
• Experience supporting healthcare technology at customer locations
• Experience participating in clinical education program development

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver basic and intermediate clinical application training at hospitals and clinics
• Train cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology personnel on imaging-system workflows
• Follow established training procedures and customer-site requirements
• Assess user competency and document training outcomes
• Award or document continuing education credits when applicable
• Apply adult-learning methods to clinical training programs
• Develop clinical protocols, sample images, technical tips, and training-library content
• Support development and improvement of clinical education programs
• Troubleshoot clinical application and equipment-use issues
• Escalate critical customer and patient-care-related issues according to established procedures
• Coordinate issue resolution with technical support, service, and clinical teams
• Provide customers with status updates regarding application and equipment issues
• Participate in clinical education projects and training-development initiatives
• Support industry conferences, trade shows, and clinical events as assigned
• Complete training reports, competency records, expense documentation, and required administrative records
• Submit required documentation within established completion timelines
• Maintain company-issued computers, peripheral equipment, training materials, and vehicles
• Maintain active professional credentials and required continuing education
• Monitor developments in cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and clinical imaging technology
• Support strategic and operational objectives within the assigned geographic territory

Pay Details: $43.00 to $57.00 per hour
