Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on electrical control panel wiring experience
  • Experience building electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and bills of material
  • Experience performing point-to-point wiring
  • Experience installing PLCs, relays, switches, indicator lights, and related electrical components
  • Experience using wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and related hand tools
  • Experience drilling and tapping holes for electrical components, wiring, and instrumentation
  • Ability to red-line electrical drawings and documentation
  • Experience installing completed assemblies into cabinets and enclosures

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting engineering change order processes
  • Experience with panel layout and component mounting
  • Experience with wire labeling, termination, routing, and cable management
  • Experience performing continuity checks and basic electrical testing
  • Experience with deburring, grinding, and sawing operations
  • Experience using hand pallet jacks
  • Knowledge of industrial control panel construction standards
  • Experience working from custom customer specifications

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies
  • Review schematics, drawings, work orders, specifications, and bills of material
  • Lay out and mount electrical components inside panels and enclosures
  • Drill and tap holes for control devices, wiring, and instruments
  • Cut, strip, crimp, label, route, and terminate wires
  • Complete point-to-point wiring according to electrical drawings
  • Install PLCs, relays, switches, lights, terminal blocks, and related components
  • Install completed assemblies and subassemblies into cabinets and cases
  • Verify wiring and component placement against project documentation
  • Identify drawing or documentation discrepancies
  • Red-line drawings to support engineering change orders
  • Perform deburring, grinding, sawing, and related fabrication tasks
  • Move materials and components using hand pallet jacks
  • Maintain tools, work areas, and assembly equipment
  • Follow applicable electrical, quality, and safety procedures


Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
