Supplier Quality Engineer PPAP
Supports quality planning and manufacturing process controls for electrical components, wiring harnesses, sensors, control boxes, and variable-frequency devices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Production Part Approval Process requirements
- Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning
- Experience developing and maintaining process flow diagrams
- Experience creating and updating Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses
- Experience supporting manufacturing quality processes and documentation
- Experience with electrical component manufacturing
Preferred Skills
- Experience manufacturing wiring harnesses
- Experience manufacturing sensors
- Experience manufacturing electrical control boxes
- Experience manufacturing variable-frequency drives or related devices
- Familiarity with control plans and quality planning documentation
- Experience supporting new product launches and supplier quality activities
- Knowledge of corrective action and root-cause analysis methods
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PPAP documentation
- Support APQP activities throughout product and process development
- Create and revise manufacturing process flow diagrams
- Develop and maintain PFMEAs
- Review manufacturing processes for quality risks and control requirements
- Support production of electrical components, wiring harnesses, sensors, control boxes, and variable-frequency devices
- Coordinate quality planning activities for new and existing products
- Maintain process quality documentation and revision records
- Support manufacturing issue investigations and corrective actions
- Verify process changes are reflected in applicable quality documentation
- Support product launches, process validation, and production readiness activities
Pay Details: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour
