FPGA Engineer responsible for FPGA design, requirements development, verification, integration, peer review, and hardware implementation support.
Job Requirements
- Active U.S. government-issued Final Secret Security Clearance
- STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience
- 3+ years of professional FPGA development, ASIC front-end, or related experience
- VHDL experience required
- Verilog experience
- Experience with FPGA or ASIC design and implementation
- Experience with requirements, design, and verification of FPGA solutions
- Experience integrating FPGA designs on target hardware units
- Experience with digital circuit architecture
- Experience with digital circuit design
- Experience with resource tradeoff analysis
- Timing analysis experience
- Timing closure experience
- Experience with FPGA platforms, including one or more of the following:
- AMD/Xilinx
- Altera
- Microchip
- Related FPGA platforms
- Experience with FPGA toolchains, including one or more of the following:
- Vivado
- Quartus
- Libero
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting FPGA or ASIC systems
- Experience with revision control concepts and tools, including:
- Git
- Subversion
- Jira experience

- Protocol experience, including:
- DDR
- PCIe

Job Responsibilities
- Develop FPGA solutions according to engineering development and quality processes
- Participate in Agile team meetings and planning activities
- Support program execution through FPGA development tasks
- Develop FPGA requirements
- Design FPGA solutions
- Verify FPGA solutions
- Integrate developed FPGA designs onto target hardware units
- Support peer reviews
- Peer review FPGA development artifacts
- Support certification analysis activities
- Manage change requests through Jira
- Manage task assignments through Jira
- Perform FPGA or ASIC design and implementation using VHDL and/or Verilog
- Support digital circuit architecture and design activities
- Perform timing analysis
- Support timing closure
- Debug FPGA and ASIC systems
- Troubleshoot FPGA and ASIC systems
- Use revision control tools to manage development artifacts
Pay Details: $50.00 to $67.00 per hour
