Supplier Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for qualifying suppliers, monitoring supplier quality performance, and supporting supplier audits to ensure parts, materials, and services meet quality requirements.

Job Requirements

• Experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or supplier auditing

• Experience ensuring supplier-delivered parts, materials, and services meet quality requirements

• Experience qualifying suppliers according to established standards

• Experience monitoring parts through acquisition and manufacturing cycles

• Experience identifying and resolving supplier-related quality issues

• Experience developing supplier audit schedules

• Experience conducting supplier audits

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices

• Knowledge of quality standards

• Experience evaluating supplier internal functions and operational performance

Preferred Skills

• Certified Supplier Program experience

• Receiving inspection experience

• Supplier performance assessment experience

• Manufacturing quality experience

• Supplier corrective action experience

• GMP audit experience

• Supplier operations evaluation experience

• Experience providing supplier performance feedback

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services

• Qualify suppliers according to established quality standards

• Administer Certified Supplier Program activities as needed

• Support receiving inspection processes for supplier quality and cost effectiveness

• Monitor parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle

• Communicate supplier-related quality issues

• Resolve supplier-related problems as they occur

• Develop supplier auditing schedules

• Prioritize supplier audits based on quality requirements and supplier performance

• Audit designated suppliers on a regular basis

• Verify supplier compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices

• Verify supplier compliance with quality standards

• Evaluate supplier internal functions

• Assess overall supplier performance

• Provide feedback on supplier operations and performance

Pay: 40-54/hr

Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
