Engineering Program Manager
Engineering Program Manager responsible for supporting NPI portfolio planning, project execution tracking, governance reviews, and leadership reporting for medical device product development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- 5–8+ years of project or program management experience
- Medical device product development experience
- Regulated product development experience preferred
- Project management and scheduling experience using:
- Microsoft Project
- Smartsheet
- Equivalent scheduling tools
- Data analysis and reporting experience using:
- Excel
- Power BI
- Experience supporting PMO organizations
- Experience supporting NPI portfolios
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects
- Experience supporting project governance reviews
- Experience preparing executive-level project updates
- Experience managing project schedules, risks, issues, resources, and documentation
- Ability to work onsite in a hybrid schedule
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting medical device development programs
- Experience supporting regulated product development programs
- Experience with Power and Advanced Energy product portfolios
- Experience managing multiple projects across a product development portfolio
- Experience developing project dashboards and leadership reports
- Experience tracking project budgets and milestones
- Experience with cross-functional governance processes
- Experience supporting product development from initiation through delivery
Job Responsibilities
- Support PMO organization and NPI portfolio execution
- Coordinate project planning activities
- Track project execution against key milestones
- Manage project documentation
- Support cross-functional project coordination
- Facilitate project meetings
- Support governance reviews
- Develop status reporting for leadership
- Manage project schedules using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools
- Track project risks and issues
- Coordinate project resources across teams
- Prepare executive-level project updates
- Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects
- Serve as liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and line management
- Manage development and implementation processes for new and existing products or services
- Support departmental and cross-functional teams focused on product delivery
- Review project status, milestones, schedules, and budgets
- Prepare project status reports
- Monitor projects from initiation through delivery
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions
- Support productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals through project execution tracking
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress
- Support intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and stakeholders
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
