Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineer responsible for mixed-signal medical device circuit design, PCB layout, hardware testing, regulatory compliance, reliability analysis, and customer complaint investigation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of electrical engineering experience
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of electrical engineering experience
Experience with mixed-signal electrical system design
Experience with all phases of mixed-signal board design
Experience with system architecture
Experience with circuit design
Experience with schematic capture
Experience with component selection
Experience with PCB layout
Experience with design verification
Strong electrical signals and systems fundamentals
Experience with frequency-domain analysis
Experience with circuit analysis
Experience with signal integrity
Experience with medium-voltage systems
Experience with safety-critical systems
Experience with OrCAD schematic capture
Experience with PCB layout tools
Experience using lab test equipment
Experience using multimeters
Experience using oscilloscopes
Experience using logic analyzers
Experience using network analyzers
Experience with system integration, debugging, and testing
Experience designing and testing medical equipment in a regulated industry
Familiarity with IEC 60601-1 safety standard
Experience working in an agile development environment

Responsibilities
Maintain mixed-signal electrical systems and circuits for medical devices
Test mixed-signal electrical systems and circuits for medical devices
Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable regulatory standards
Develop detailed electrical specifications
Develop schematics
Develop PCB layouts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet design and performance requirements
Develop technical specifications for test hardware
Verify test hardware conformance to specifications
Modify existing products as required
Support technical project planning
Establish project timelines
Define technical deliverables
Identify and mitigate project risks
Develop specifications for replacement of obsolete components
Develop test specifications for obsolete component replacements
Support regulatory assessments for component changes
Support IEC 60601 standards testing
Monitor customer complaint trends
Investigate customer complaint trends
Validate customer complaint trends
Determine whether products require modification or redesign
Maintain product requirements during design changes
Perform system integration, debugging, and validation testing
Develop test specifications and validation methods
Support long-term product reliability
Pay: 65-75/hr

Pay Details: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour
