Job Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Design, or related field
- 5 or more years of Siemens NX administration experience
- NX CAD environment administration experience
- Siemens NX modeling, assemblies, drafting, PMI, and MBD knowledge
- Experience maintaining NX configurations, licenses, user access, installation packages, configuration files, and user settings
- Experience developing and maintaining NX libraries, templates, and engineering standards
- Experience supporting large engineering organizations
- Configuration management and revision control experience
- Teamcenter or similar PLM system experience
- CAD data management experience
- Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, ISO, API, ASTM, or customer-specific standards
- Engineering documentation experience

Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Siemens NX CAD environments, configurations, licenses, and user access
- Provide NX technical support and troubleshooting for engineering and manufacturing users
- Coordinate NX software upgrades, testing, deployment, and validation activities
- Develop and maintain NX installation packages, configuration files, and user settings
- Monitor CAD system performance and support IT and cybersecurity compliance requirements
- Develop, organize, and maintain standardized NX libraries
- Maintain libraries for standard parts, fasteners, purchased components, gas turbine components, power generation equipment, weldments, structural steel components, and electrical and instrumentation components
- Establish metadata structures and naming conventions
- Create reusable design features and parametric models
- Develop engineering templates and drafting standards
- Build and maintain NX design standards aligned with ASME, ANSI, ISO, API, ASTM, and customer-specific requirements
- Develop drafting standards, title blocks, layer management, and model-based definition practices
- Create engineering workflows, procedures, and best practices documentation
- Drive CAD standardization across engineering disciplines
- Support CAD data management and integration with Teamcenter, PLM systems, and ERP systems
- Maintain CAD data integrity, revision control, and configuration management
- Develop workflows for engineering change notices and design release processes
- Identify opportunities for engineering productivity improvements through automation
- Develop NX journals, scripts, macros, and automation tools
- Implement best practices for model creation, assemblies, drafting, and manufacturing deliverables
- Train engineering personnel on NX standards and best practices
- Develop user guides and training materials
- Serve as the Siemens NX CAD subject matter expert for engineering teams
Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
