Electrical Enigneer

Digital hardware design role responsible for complex digital circuit card design, high-speed data links, avionics electronics, prototype integration, qualification testing, and manufacturing support.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of relevant experience
• Advanced degree in a related field with 3 or more years of relevant experience
• U.S. Person or Permanent Resident Green Card holder
• Experience designing digital hardware or complex digital circuit cards
• Experience with high-speed data link design
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing digital circuit cards
• Experience with circuit analysis and schematic generation
• Experience supporting circuit card layout coordination
• Experience performing functional testing and prototype integration
• Experience supporting electrical qualification testing

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition Design and Layout
• Digital board design experience with multi-gigabit serial links
• Experience designing high-reliability electronic circuits for commercial or military avionics
• Experience using Jama or similar requirements management tools
• Experience with hardware architecture and design trade studies
• Experience designing and building integration support equipment
• Experience supporting early manufacturing builds
• Experience providing technical oversight to electrical designers

Job Responsibilities

• Design high-reliability electronic circuits for commercial and military avionics
• Design, implement, and test complex digital circuit cards with high-speed data links
• Define and capture requirements for new hardware designs using enterprise tools
• Perform hardware architecture development and design trade studies
• Perform circuit analysis and schematic generation
• Provide technical oversight and coordination of circuit card layout
• Perform functional testing of circuit card prototypes
• Support circuit card prototype integration
• Design and build integration support equipment
• Support electrical qualification testing
• Support manufacturing during early unit builds
• Oversee work performed by less experienced electrical designers

Pay Details: $49.00 to $66.00 per hour
