Job Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience performing engineering support in a manufacturing facility
  • 3 or more years of SAP experience
  • 3 or more years of experience with quality defect dispositioning
  • 3 or more years of experience with Preliminary Material Review
  • Experience designing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts
  • Experience supporting assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, or material handling operations
  • Experience reviewing machinery, equipment, and tool performance
  • Experience initiating corrective actions for production, equipment, or quality issues
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process compliance requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Experience designing machine layouts within plant facilities
  • Experience developing production operation sequences
  • Experience specifying fabrication procedures for tools and equipment
  • Experience adapting machine or equipment designs to factory and production conditions
  • Experience incorporating inspection and test requirements into production plans

Job Responsibilities

  • Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling
  • Design machine arrangements within plant facilities to support efficient production layouts
  • Design sequence of operations for production and fabrication activities
  • Specify procedures for the fabrication of tools, equipment, and related production functions
  • Support manufacturing functions affecting product performance
  • Adapt machine or equipment designs to factory and production conditions
  • Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans
  • Inspect machinery, equipment, and tool performance to verify efficiency
  • Investigate production problems, equipment deficiencies, and quality issues
  • Initiate corrective actions to address problems and deficiencies
  • Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control
  • Develop statistical process control techniques as needed
  • Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts and specification requirements
  • Support effective use of equipment and manufacturing techniques
  • Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations
  • Support quality defect dispositioning activities
  • Support Preliminary Material Review activities
  • Use SAP to support manufacturing engineering, quality, and production activities


Pay Details: $48.00 to $53.00 per hour
