Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or science-related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Master’s degree in a technical, engineering, or science-related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of quality assurance protocols, quality control methods, and manufacturing compliance requirements
  • Experience with quality standards, regulatory standards, and production process compliance

Preferred Skills

  • Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program experience
  • Experience with Navy, ISO 9001, NQA-1, or 10 CFR 50 compliant quality programs
  • ISO 9001 or NQA-1 Certified Lead Auditor certification
  • Knowledge of statistical inference
  • Gas boiler operation experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
  • Plan, implement, and manage compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards for worldwide distribution
  • Design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating production processes, production equipment, and finished products
  • Analyze reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates to quality standards and procedures
  • Assure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards, including ISO 9001 and 10 CFR 50
  • Prepare and provide product assurance documentation required by customer programs
  • Plan and coordinate testing activities to ensure compliance with applicable requirements
  • Provide oversight of the quality management system, procedures, and methods
  • Perform engineering design and part identification for testing facility operations
  • Review and disseminate regulatory reference information that may affect facility operations
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in internal audits and in-process work surveillances
  • Develop audit plans, conduct audits, and document findings in formal reports
  • Develop quality assurance and quality control programs and manuals for new and existing business
  • Investigate and review non-conforming occurrences
  • Implement sustainable corrective actions


Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
