Oracle APEX software development role focused on web-based applications, SQL and PL/SQL development, RESTful integrations, Oracle database systems, and application performance support.

Job Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience with Oracle technologies
• Oracle Database experience, including 11g, 12c, 19c, or later
• SQL development experience
• PL/SQL development experience
• Experience building Oracle APEX applications
• Experience maintaining Oracle APEX applications
• Oracle APEX version 20.x or later experience preferred
• Experience writing stored procedures
• Experience writing functions
• Experience writing triggers
• Strong understanding of relational database design
• Data modeling experience
• Experience troubleshooting application performance issues
• Experience troubleshooting database queries
• Experience with RESTful web services
• API integration experience
• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience working within Agile or iterative development processes

Preferred Skills

• Siemens Teamcenter PLM experience
• Teamcenter integration experience
• Teamcenter customization experience
• Familiarity with Teamcenter data structures
• Familiarity with Teamcenter workflows
• ITK API experience
• SOA API experience
• JavaScript experience within Oracle APEX customizations
• HTML/CSS experience within Oracle APEX customizations
• Git or version control system experience
• Oracle Certified Associate certification
• Oracle Certified Professional certification

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy on-premises web-based applications using Oracle APEX
• Develop and modify complex software programs to support operating system and product requirements
• Provide functional and empirical analysis for hardware and software operating system design and implementation
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code in an Oracle APEX environment
• Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot application performance, database query, and system integration issues
• Maintain and improve existing Oracle APEX applications
• Support application availability and reliability
• Develop and maintain RESTful web services and API integrations
• Participate in code reviews
• Contribute to development best practices and technical documentation
• Support Agile or iterative development activities

Pay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
