Controls Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting controls software for heavy machinery and integrated electrical and hydraulic systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
  • Hands-on programming experience with one or more of the following:
    • Parker IQAN
    • CODESYS
    • CodeAssist
    • C
    • MATLAB
    • Simulink
  • Experience developing control logic that interfaces directly with physical systems
  • Experience diagnosing electrical hardware issues involving modules, valves, and sensors
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in automotive, agricultural, construction, or industrial machinery environments
  • Experience with Parker control components and software
  • Experience integrating electrical and hydraulic control systems
  • Experience developing machine diagnostics and operator interface software

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop controls software for heavy machinery.
  • Create control algorithms and software modules for machine operation.
  • Integrate electrical and hydraulic systems to provide real-time machine and operator feedback.
  • Write and maintain software for machine diagnostics and operator interfaces.
  • Simulate and debug controls software prior to hardware testing.
  • Perform bench-level and full-machine software testing.
  • Upgrade legacy Parker components to current software versions.
  • Troubleshoot production-floor controls and software issues.
  • Support resolution of technical issues related to machine controls and software.
  • Establish and maintain organized documentation and file storage for legacy service parts and software updates.


Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
