Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Advanced C and C++ programming experience
  • Experience developing Windows-based applications in Visual Studio
  • Experience with Microsoft Foundation Class Library
  • Experience with Win32 API development
  • Experience integrating software with physical hardware, firmware, embedded controllers, or industrial devices
  • Experience developing high-speed or real-time software applications
  • Experience with digital image processing or graphics application development
  • Experience with TCP and UDP socket communications
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software architectures
  • Experience writing technical documentation and participating in code reviews
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware-interface, application-performance, and image-rendering issues

Preferred Skills

  • Embedded software or firmware development experience
  • Python programming experience
  • Experience with BMP or related Windows image-file formats
  • Experience with automated software testing
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
  • Experience with build systems, software releases, and configuration management
  • Experience in manufacturing, factory automation, industrial machinery, robotics, or machine vision environments
  • Experience developing control applications for high-speed industrial equipment
  • Experience maintaining legacy software while developing new platforms

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software architectures for industrial printing machinery and related hardware
  • Maintain and enhance legacy software systems
  • Develop new Windows-based software platforms and utilities
  • Write applications using C, C++, MFC, Win32 API, and related technologies
  • Translate system architecture and software requirements into working applications
  • Develop control software for high-speed industrial machinery
  • Integrate software with embedded devices, firmware, controllers, sensors, and equipment interfaces
  • Develop image-rendering and image-processing functionality for printing applications
  • Optimize software for speed, stability, throughput, and reliability
  • Implement TCP and UDP communications
  • Develop and maintain low-level hardware communication interfaces
  • Troubleshoot software defects involving hardware interactions, networking, graphics, and system performance
  • Create and execute software validation and diagnostic tests
  • Review source code and implement corrections and performance improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical design documents, interface specifications, and test records
  • Support software builds, releases, deployment, and validation activities
  • Maintain continuous integration workflows and automated test processes
  • Coordinate software interfaces with electrical, mechanical, embedded, and manufacturing teams
  • Support system integration, equipment startup, and production troubleshooting
  • Maintain source control, revision history, build configurations, and release documentation


Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
