Supply Chain and Material Flow Engineer responsible for designing large-scale logistics, warehouse, routing, and material flow processes for high-volume manufacturing operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years of supply chain or material flow engineering experience

  • 5+ years of experience developing end-to-end supply chain, logistics, and/or material flow processes for high-volume, high-complexity production or logistics facilities

  • 3+ years of experience with 2D or 3D layout planning using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar design platforms

  • Experience developing logistics, routing, warehouse, and value-stream designs

  • Experience implementing material flow equipment such as conveyors, EMS systems, AGVs, and ASRS systems

  • Experience developing models to evaluate cost, throughput, space utilization, sequencing, batching, and intermediate storage strategies

  • Experience planning and managing project schedules aligned with overall program milestones

Preferred Skills

  • MBA or master’s degree in a related field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD certification

  • 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Program Management

  • Experience with MES, MRP, WMS, or YMS systems

  • Experience using Python for data analysis and/or workflow automation

  • Experience supporting automotive, electronics, or consumer product manufacturing

  • Experience translating engineering and design requirements into supply chain solutions

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop large-scale supply chain and logistics processes from external warehouses through final assembly

  • Design detailed material flow processes, including value streams, routing, warehouse layouts, and internal logistics

  • Coordinate material flow requirements with production control, packaging planning, inbound logistics, factory design, and manufacturing engineering

  • Implement material handling and automation equipment including conveyors, EMS systems, AGVs, and ASRS systems

  • Develop analytical models to evaluate material flow cost, throughput, space, and storage requirements

  • Analyze part sequencing, material batching, intermediate storage, and other logistics strategies

  • Develop and update facility and logistics layouts using 2D or 3D design tools

  • Support integration of supply chain processes with MES, MRP, WMS, and YMS platforms

  • Plan, track, and manage project schedules

  • Align logistics and material flow project milestones with broader manufacturing programs

  • Develop supply chain solutions based on engineering, production, and facility design requirements

Pay: 40-54/hr

Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
