Technician
Defense Vehicle Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, refurbishing, and retrofitting tactical vehicle assemblies and subsystems.
Job Requirements

Experience performing failure analysis, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of tactical vehicle assemblies and subassemblies.

Experience diagnosing mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using test equipment and technical publications.

Experience repairing fuel systems, electrical systems, diesel engines, cooling systems, transmissions, brake systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems, and auxiliary drives.

Experience conducting assembly and subassembly testing to verify compliance with work instructions and functional requirements.

Experience operating cranes, compressors, presses, grinders, heavy hand tools, and other shop equipment.

Ability to lift, move, and install heavy parts and assemblies using required tooling and personal protective equipment.

Experience documenting non-conformities, rework activities, and testing results using computer systems and standard forms.

Experience following shop safety programs and production procedures.

Experience supporting retrofit and rework activities in shop and field environments.

Job Responsibilities
-
Perform failure analysis, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of tactical vehicle assemblies and subassemblies.

Diagnose mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using inspections, test equipment, and technical publications.
-
Identify and document non-conformities discovered during testing and dynamic checks.
-
Repair fuel, electrical, diesel engine, cooling, transmission, brake, steering, hydraulic, and auxiliary drive systems.
-
Conduct assembly and subassembly testing to verify proper functionality and compliance with work instructions.
-
Operate cranes, compressors, presses, grinders, heavy hand tools, and other shop equipment.
-
Lift, move, and install heavy vehicle parts and assemblies using approved tooling and PPE.
-
Record rework activities and testing results in required computer systems.
-
Support rework activities at partner facilities as needed.
-
Perform equipment retrofits in shop, on-site, and field environments.
-
Follow established shop safety programs, work instructions, and production procedures.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
