Mechanical Detailer
Mechanical CAD Drafter responsible for creating and maintaining 3D models, mechanical drawings, BOMs, and fabrication documentation for industrial equipment.
Job Requirements
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Basic understanding of mechanical fabrication and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with sheet metal and structural design.
Experience creating or updating CAD drawings.
Experience developing part, assembly, and fabrication drawings.
Experience reviewing drawings for dimensions, completeness, and manufacturability.
Ability to revise drawings based on engineering changes and manufacturing feedback.
Preferred Skills
Experience with 3D SolidWorks.
Previous CAD drafting or mechanical detailing experience.
Technical degree, drafting degree, engineering-related education, or equivalent training and hands-on experience.
Basic knowledge of industrial equipment.
Familiarity with conveyance, heating, washing, or finishing systems.
Experience preparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Experience detailing machined components.
Experience creating and maintaining standard or reusable drawings.
Job Responsibilities
Create and update 3D models using SolidWorks.
Create and update mechanical detail drawings.
Develop part drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings from engineering designs.
Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials.
Detail sheet metal, structural, and machined components.
Support engineers with drawing development and design documentation.
Revise drawings based on engineering changes and manufacturing feedback.
Create and maintain standard and reusable drawings.
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, and manufacturability.
Obtain specifications and technical information for purchased components.
Develop working knowledge of industrial ovens, washers, finishing systems, and related equipment.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour
