Create and revise mechanical drawings, support drafting activities, and prepare final engineering documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Job Requirements

  • Experience or education in mechanical design, engineering, drafting, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with SolidWorks.
  • Experience with AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of mechanical drafting and design practices.
  • Ability to create and revise engineering drawings.
  • Ability to prepare final drawing documentation.

Preferred Skills

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related field.
  • Recent graduates from engineering or design programs may be considered.
  • Experience preparing drawing packages for manufacturing or production.
  • Experience with mechanical assemblies and component drawings.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawing standards and revision control.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and revise mechanical drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Perform drafting and mechanical design support activities.
  • Update drawings based on engineering changes and design revisions.
  • Prepare final engineering drawings and documentation packages.
  • Review drawings for completeness and required technical information.
  • Maintain drawing revisions and associated documentation.
  • Support mechanical designers and engineers with drawing updates and documentation.
  • Convert design information into production-ready drawings and final documentation.


Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
