Mazak CNC Lathe Operator / Programmer

Set up, program, operate, and maintain Mazak CNC lathes to manufacture precision parts according to technical specifications and quality requirements.

Job Requirements

• Experience setting up and operating Mazak CNC lathes.

• Experience programming and editing CNC programs using Mazatrol.

• Knowledge of CNC machining processes and lathe operations.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and part specifications.

• Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.

• Experience troubleshooting CNC machine issues.

• Knowledge of dimensional inspection and precision measurement techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Experience performing routine CNC machine maintenance.

• Experience modifying machining programs to improve part quality or machining performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mazak CNC lathes for production machining.

• Program and edit CNC programs using Mazatrol.

• Machine parts according to drawings, specifications, and dimensional requirements.

• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment.

• Verify parts meet required quality and dimensional standards.

• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and machining issues.

• Implement corrections for machining and equipment problems.

• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment.

• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programs as required to maintain production specifications.

Pay: 25-30/hr

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
