Supply Chain Process Engineer
Supports supply chain launch projects involving warehouse design, material flow, equipment implementation, ERP/WMS changes, kitting expansion, repacking processes, and production ramp-up activities.
Job Requirements
- Experience supporting supply chain, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing projects.
- Experience developing warehouse layouts and material flow processes.
- Experience with receiving, storage, replenishment, and material handling operations.
- Experience defining and implementing material handling equipment and warehouse infrastructure.
- Experience coordinating equipment installation and commissioning activities.
- Experience performing capacity, space utilization, and material flow analysis.
- Experience developing project schedules, action plans, status reports, and implementation documentation.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or supply chain launches.
- Experience coordinating warehouse or logistics requirements with transportation, facilities, IT, procurement, and quality functions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting second-shift or production expansion projects.
- ERP and/or Warehouse Management System implementation experience.
- Experience with kitting operations and material presentation.
- Experience developing standardized repacking and packaging processes.
- Experience coordinating external warehouse operations.
- Experience with warehouse equipment procurement and vendor management.
- Experience supporting plant shutdowns, startups, or production ramp-ups.
- Experience analyzing pack quantities, packaging requirements, and workstation or equipment needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Support planning and implementation of supply chain projects associated with production expansion and second-shift launch activities.
- Develop external warehouse layouts, material flow plans, storage strategies, receiving processes, and replenishment methods.
- Define material handling equipment and infrastructure requirements for new warehouse operations.
- Support procurement, installation, commissioning, and implementation of warehouse equipment.
- Coordinate vendors throughout equipment delivery, installation, and startup activities.
- Coordinate with Transportation to establish receiving windows, delivery frequencies, and material flow requirements.
- Coordinate with Facilities and IT on building infrastructure, hardware, systems, and operational readiness.
- Evaluate and support required ERP and Warehouse Management System changes.
- Support expansion of kitting operations, including layout development, material presentation, equipment selection, and installation.
- Perform capacity, material flow, space utilization, and process analyses.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, implementation plans, action logs, and status documentation.
- Support project launches, shutdown activities, production startups, and ramp-up activities.
- Develop and implement standardized repacking processes.
- Define packaging requirements, pack quantities, material presentation methods, workspace layouts, and equipment requirements.
- Coordinate repacking and packaging activities with Process Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Transportation, and suppliers.
- Identify and implement improvements to warehouse, material flow, kitting, and repacking processes.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
