Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of production equipment maintenance experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
  • Industrial electrical experience, including 480V systems.
  • Experience with motors, drives, and PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • MIG and TIG welding experience.
  • Basic fabrication experience.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Preventive maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and industrial safety requirements.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends.
  • Ability to pass required maintenance aptitude testing.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience maintaining manufacturing or packaging equipment.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Experience with 5 Why analysis and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience performing machine changeovers.
  • Experience implementing equipment reliability or process improvements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
  • Diagnose faults involving 480V systems, motors, drives, and PLC-controlled machinery.
  • Perform machine changeovers and equipment adjustments.
  • Conduct MIG/TIG welding and basic fabrication for repairs and equipment modifications.
  • Read and apply information from schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Support equipment improvements focused on uptime, reliability, and production performance.
  • Respond to production equipment breakdowns and restore equipment to operating condition.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production operators and supervisors.
  • Complete maintenance records and applicable work order documentation.
  • Perform maintenance activities in accordance with safety and lockout/tagout requirements.


Pay Details: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour
