Project Coordinator
Supports electrical construction projects through project documentation, submittal coordination, field support, reporting, billing assistance, and project closeout activities.
Job Requirements
- Experience supporting construction project coordination or project administration.
- Experience maintaining project documentation including RFIs, drawings, specifications, addenda, change orders, and closeout records.
- Experience coordinating construction submittals.
- Experience maintaining project logs, reports, correspondence, and work-in-progress documentation.
- Experience with project management and accounting software.
- Experience supporting invoice review and billing preparation.
- Experience coordinating material and equipment orders, permits, inspections, rentals, and deliveries.
- Experience maintaining compliance documentation such as insurance certificates, bonds, certified payroll records, and safety records.
- Ability to understand and apply technical construction documents and project instructions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting electrical construction projects.
- Experience working with project managers, field supervisors, foremen, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
- Experience with Rivet or similar construction management systems.
- Experience supporting preconstruction, project turnover, WIP, and closeout meetings.
- Experience maintaining manpower and project control data.
- Experience coordinating site access and field logistics.
Job Responsibilities
- Support project setup activities within project management and accounting systems.
- Coordinate, track, distribute, and maintain RFIs, drawings, specifications, exhibits, addenda, change orders, contract documents, and project control records.
- Manage the submittal process, including requesting, receiving, processing, tracking, and uploading documentation.
- Prepare and maintain project reports, logs, correspondence, and WIP reports.
- Assist with invoice review and billing preparation.
- Maintain project records, manpower data, and other project information within applicable software systems.
- Coordinate routine project activities among project managers, field teams, supervisors, foremen, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Schedule and support project meetings, including turnover, preconstruction, review, WIP, and closeout meetings.
- Maintain meeting documentation, reports, correspondence, and project records.
- Coordinate vendor orders, equipment rentals, deliveries, and site access requirements.
- Track material and equipment orders, permits, and inspections.
- Maintain insurance certificates, bonds, certified payroll records, safety documentation, and other compliance records.
- Support project closeout activities and organize required closeout documentation.
- Maintain accurate filing, distribution, and document control throughout the project lifecycle.
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
