Production Technician
Summary: Supports manufacturing operations through equipment operation, material handling, assembly, packaging, and quality inspection activities.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Experience working with production equipment or manufacturing workstations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to perform material handling, assembly, trimming, wrapping, and packaging activities.
- Ability to perform basic quality inspections.
- Ability to follow required safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with continuous improvement activities.
- Experience working in multiple production areas.
- Experience training or cross-training production employees.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and support production equipment and manufacturing workstations.
- Perform material handling, assembly, trimming, wrapping, and packaging tasks.
- Assist machine and equipment operators during production activities.
- Report equipment issues, production problems, and process abnormalities.
- Conduct basic quality checks to verify products meet established requirements.
- Use hand tools and power tools during manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Follow established safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
- Maintain production areas, equipment, and workstations in clean operating condition.
- Cross-train in multiple production processes and work areas.
- Assist with training new production employees on assigned processes and equipment.
- Support production, quality, and continuous improvement requirements.
Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
