Develops and manages executable master production schedules that align demand with manufacturing capacity, materials, labor, inventory, and operational constraints.

Job Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on production scheduling or master scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience developing and managing a Master Production Schedule (MPS).

  • Experience scheduling around capacity, labor, materials, tooling, and production constraints.

  • Experience identifying and resolving production bottlenecks, material shortages, and scheduling conflicts.

  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP.

  • Experience with inventory management and material planning.

  • Knowledge of shop-floor manufacturing operations.

  • Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • SAP experience.

  • Experience with capacity planning and production optimization.

  • Experience coordinating production schedules across multiple manufacturing functions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule based on approved demand and supply plans.

  • Translate demand requirements into feasible production schedules.

  • Balance production requirements against available capacity, labor, materials, tooling, and equipment.

  • Monitor material availability and inventory levels to support scheduled production.

  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, shortages, capacity limitations, and scheduling conflicts.

  • Adjust production schedules based on changing demand, material availability, and manufacturing conditions.

  • Coordinate scheduling activities with Production, Materials, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Customer Service.

  • Maintain production planning and scheduling information within MRP/ERP systems.

  • Support inventory targets while maintaining required production output.

  • Analyze production schedules and manufacturing constraints to improve schedule execution.

  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities related to production planning and scheduling.

Pay: 40-60/hr

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
