CMM Programmer
Develop, validate, troubleshoot, and maintain PC-DMIS CMM programs supporting dimensional inspection and manufacturing quality operations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of three years of off-line PC-DMIS programming experience
- Experience generating and validating CMM programs in a manufacturing environment
- Experience proving out CMM programs and verifying measurement results
- Experience troubleshooting CMM hardware, software, and programming issues
- Experience programming parts according to established inspection standards and Product Quality Plans
- Experience configuring and proving out CMM machine hardware and software
- Experience providing CMM-related support to manufacturing operations
- Experience developing workstation instructions or inspection methods
- Ability to interpret dimensional inspection requirements and engineering documentation
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Siemens NX 2206 or 2412
- Experience manipulating CAD models to support CMM programming
- Experience leading manufacturing process improvement projects
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
- Experience with continuous improvement or operational excellence methodologies
- Experience supporting Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost improvement initiatives
- Experience training CMM operators
Job Responsibilities
- Generate, maintain, and verify CMM programs using PC-DMIS
- Develop inspection programs according to Product Quality Plans and established standards
- Prove out CMM programs and validate measurement results
- Troubleshoot CMM hardware, software, and programming issues
- Configure and validate CMM machine hardware and software
- Manipulate Siemens NX models as required to support inspection programming
- Provide daily CMM troubleshooting and technical support to manufacturing operations
- Support Manufacturing Engineers with CMM programming and inspection requirements
- Train operators on CMM equipment and inspection procedures as required
- Develop and maintain workstation instructions for CMM-related processes
- Investigate measurement or inspection issues and implement corrective actions
- Lead process improvement projects related to CMM operations
- Improve CMM processes supporting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
- Maintain CMM programs, inspection methods, and supporting technical documentation
Pay Details: $45.00 to $54.00 per hour
