CMM Programmer
Develop, validate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated inspection programs for precision tooling and manufactured components.
Job Requirements
6+ years of quality assurance experience involving precision tooling or precision-manufactured components
Proficiency programming coordinate measuring machines using Calypso
Knowledge of Calypso PCM programming
Experience with curve and free-form surface programming
Experience creating CMM programs using online and offline programming methods
Experience setting up and validating coordinate measuring machine programs
Experience operating CMM, vision measurement systems, gauges, and other precision inspection equipment
Experience interpreting statistical process control results
Experience analyzing dimensional inspection and qualification data
Preferred Skills
Associate degree or technical training in Machine Trades, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
Experience with vision coordinate measuring machines
Experience developing inspection fixtures and gauge concepts
Knowledge of automated inspection equipment maintenance
Experience implementing artifact checks for precision measurement systems
Experience creating automated inspection work instructions
Experience supporting production qualification and process validation activities
Job Responsibilities
Develop CMM and vision measurement programs using online and offline programming methods
Program curve, free-form, and PCM inspection routines in Calypso
Set up and validate CMM, vision measurement, gauge, and precision inspection processes
Maintain inspection programs through updates, improvements, and rework
Create work instructions for automated inspection equipment
Analyze inspection data and provide results during product and process qualification
Troubleshoot CMM and vision measurement programs used in production
Perform dimensional inspections using automated and manual precision measurement equipment
Interpret statistical process control data and identify process variation
Develop and implement artifact checks for precision testing equipment
Support the development of inspection fixture and gauge concepts
Participate in gauge and fixture design, validation, and implementation
Perform basic maintenance on automated inspection equipment
Train quality and production personnel to operate approved CMM and vision measurement programs
Maintain inspection program revisions, validation records, and equipment documentation
Pay: 34-42/hr

Pay Details: $34.00 to $42.00 per hour
