Assembler (Multi-Disciplinary)

Assembles machinery and related components to blueprint specifications and supports testing, material handling, and production activities.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of one year of related manufacturing experience

• Ability to read and follow blueprints

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools

• Ability to read measuring tools and basic dimensional requirements

• Forklift operating experience

• Ability to read and write English

• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions

• Basic math skills

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and reach throughout the workday

Preferred Skills

• Mechanical assembly experience

• Electrical assembly or troubleshooting experience

• Hydraulic assembly or troubleshooting experience

• Overhead crane operating experience

• Experience assembling industrial machinery or equipment

• Experience loading and unloading manufactured equipment

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble machinery, components, and subassemblies according to blueprint specifications

• Complete assemblies through required testing procedures

• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment during assembly

• Inspect materials and components for defects or questionable conditions

• Report defective materials and assembly issues to the department supervisor

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move, position, and hoist materials

• Load and unload trucks for equipment delivery

• Support production activities in other work areas as assigned

• Coordinate material and assembly requirements with other departments

• Maintain production schedules for assigned assembly work

Pay: 20-25/hr

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
