CNC Programmer (NX)

Develops, implements, troubleshoots, and validates NX CNC programs for manufacturing operations.

Job Requirements

• Advanced Siemens NX programming experience

• Ability to develop and implement CNC programs with minimal onboarding

• Experience troubleshooting code, toolpaths, post-processing, or machine-execution issues

• Ability to identify program failures and determine corrective actions

• Experience testing revised code and verifying successful machine operation

• Knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, feeds, speeds, and setup requirements

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within ISO 13485 quality-system requirements

• Experience supporting medical device manufacturing

• Familiarity with CNC program validation and controlled manufacturing documentation

• Experience optimizing toolpaths, cycle times, and machining reliability

• Knowledge of post processors and machine-specific code requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs using Siemens NX

• Implement machining code for production use

• Review existing programs and identify code or toolpath issues

• Troubleshoot unsuccessful or incomplete machining programs

• Modify programs, parameters, and toolpaths to correct performance issues

• Test revised code and verify proper machine execution

• Validate programs against engineering and manufacturing requirements

• Optimize CNC programs for machining accuracy, efficiency, and reliability

• Document program revisions, test results, and implementation changes

• Support production personnel with CNC programming and troubleshooting

• Maintain programming records in accordance with applicable quality procedures

Pay: 50-60/hr

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
