Assistant Production Supervisor
Supports daily agricultural equipment assembly operations by coordinating production activities, addressing downtime, and maintaining safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Availability to work from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience or academic background related to manufacturing, production, operations, engineering, or business
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes
- Ability to track production issues, downtime, and operational requirements
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Internship or entry-level experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting assembly-line or production operations
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods
- Experience using production reports, work instructions, or downtime tracking systems
- Experience coordinating tools, materials, or production resources
Job Responsibilities
- Support daily assembly-line production activities
- Assist the area supervisor with production-floor coordination
- Monitor work activities performed by hourly assembly employees
- Ensure operators have required tools, materials, equipment, and work instructions
- Respond to operator help calls and production support requests
- Investigate equipment downtime and process interruptions
- Escalate unresolved equipment, material, quality, or staffing issues
- Monitor assembly operations for compliance with safety and quality requirements
- Support production targets related to output, cost, schedule, and delivery
- Track production issues, downtime events, and corrective actions
- Maintain production records, reports, and shift documentation
- Support continuous improvement and waste-reduction initiatives
- Provide operational coverage for the area supervisor as assigned
Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
