CAD Designer

CAD Designer role focused on creating and revising detailed CAD models and drawings from engineering instructions, sketches, and layouts.

Job Requirements

• Associate degree in Technology, Drafting, or a related field

• Related vocational or technical high school program may be considered

• CAD software proficiency

• Basic understanding of drafting practices and procedures

• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

• Experience creating models and drawings from instructions, sketches, or layouts

• Experience making drawing or model revisions based on engineering direction

• Written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

• CAD drafting experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment

• Experience supporting engineers or project managers with drawing updates

• Experience following modeling and drafting standards

• Experience creating clear, accurate, and production-ready models and drawings

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD models and drawings according to provided instructions

• Create drawings from sketches, layouts, and engineering direction

• Perform model and drawing changes as directed by engineers or project managers

• Revise CAD files to meet project requirements and drafting standards

• Follow modeling and drafting practices and procedures

• Produce clear and concise models and drawings for project use

• Review work for accuracy and compliance with standards

• Coordinate with team members to confirm project requirements and timelines

Pay: 30-35/hr

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
