Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of contract administration experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience or equivalent experience

  • Claims management experience

  • Contract reading experience

  • Contract writing experience

  • Experience researching and implementing risk mitigation strategies

  • Experience managing contract change orders

  • Experience performing contractual analysis and interpretation

  • Experience drafting customer letters, replies, notifications, and change orders

  • Experience maintaining contract management documentation and electronic files

  • Ability to travel to U.S. and Latin America project sites as required

  • English speaking and writing skills

Job Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and implement risk mitigation strategies

  • Research and author claims settlement agreements

  • Manage contract change order execution according to contractual entitlement

  • Pursue extension of time claims and EPC claims

  • Research, pursue, negotiate, and obtain insurance claim recoveries

  • Drive supplier recovery in coordination with sourcing teams

  • Maintain databases for risk mitigation, vendor recovery, and insurance recovery tracking

  • Perform pre-award risk analysis of customer contract terms and conditions

  • Develop terms and conditions for major subcontractors

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with major subcontractors

  • Ensure appropriate insurance policies are in place for assigned projects

  • Maintain contract management documentation and electronic files

  • Obtain and manage backup documentation for delays, claims, back-charges, and rejections

  • Coordinate with Project Managers on contractual notifications and deliverables

  • Draft change orders, letters, replies, and customer notifications

  • Provide contractual analysis and interpretation for project commercial issues

  • Drive project commercial issues to resolution and closure

  • Obtain management authorization to release new projects through electronic order release systems

  • Maintain electronic order release records

  • Issue internal change orders as required

  • Visit customer project sites as required

  • Lead contract analysis for project issues at customer sites

  • Prepare claims mitigation presentations

  • Present claims mitigation information to customers

Pay: 55-60/hr

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
