Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- 3D SolidWorks experience
- 2D AutoCAD experience
- Experience generating drawings using 3D SolidWorks
- Experience preparing bills of material
- Experience creating assembly drawings
- Experience with sheet metal design
- Experience with structural design
- Experience with conveyance systems
- Experience with heating systems
- Experience with washing systems
- Experience calculating design requirements for conveyance, washing, heating, and structural systems
- Experience using spreadsheet and word processing software
Preferred Skills
- SolidWorks PDM experience
- PE license
- Industrial capital equipment design experience
- Heat processing equipment experience
- Oven, washer, or material handling equipment experience
- Vendor quote experience
- Purchased component selection experience
Responsibilities
- Generate drawings using 3D SolidWorks
- Prepare bills of material and assembly drawings
- Select components based on critical design requirements
- Calculate design requirements for conveyance systems
- Calculate design requirements for washing systems
- Calculate design requirements for heating systems
- Calculate design requirements for structural systems
- Process drawing releases
- Process drawing and BOM revisions
- Check drawings and calculations created by peers
- Obtain vendor quotes for purchased components
- Work with purchasing to execute purchase orders
- Provide technical support to sales and manufacturing
- Maintain project drawing files and folders
- Maintain drawing archives
- Create and maintain standard drawings
- Work with vendors on manufacturing capabilities
Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
