Electrical Designer
Electrical Designer II role focused on electrical drafting, plant modification packages, and detailed electrical drawing development.
Job Requirements
Associate degree in Drafting, Design, Engineering Technology, or related field
4 years of equivalent experience in electrical and controls system design in place of degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering drafting and electrical design practices
AutoCAD proficiency
Experience developing plant modification packages
Experience developing detailed electrical engineering drawings
Experience with electrical and controls systems design
Preferred Skills
Raster Designer knowledge or experience
3D modeling experience
Field experience on nuclear power plant projects
Nuclear power plant project experience
Responsibilities
Develop and review detailed electrical engineering drawings
Create wiring diagrams, connection diagrams, one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, logic diagrams, and conduit/raceway layouts
Produce complex 2D electrical designs
Verify drawing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards
Support field walkdowns and as-built verification
Support plant modification and installation activities
Manage multiple electrical design projects
Resolve electrical design issues with engineering, design, customer, and construction teams
Deliver electrical design solutions that meet technical requirements and project expectations
Pay: 21-28/hr

Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
