Electrical Designer

Electrical Designer II role focused on electrical drafting, plant modification packages, and detailed electrical drawing development.

Job Requirements

• Associate degree in Drafting, Design, Engineering Technology, or related field

• 4 years of equivalent experience in electrical and controls system design in place of degree

• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering drafting and electrical design practices

• AutoCAD proficiency

• Experience developing plant modification packages

• Experience developing detailed electrical engineering drawings

• Experience with electrical and controls systems design

Preferred Skills

• Raster Designer knowledge or experience

• 3D modeling experience

• Field experience on nuclear power plant projects

• Nuclear power plant project experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and review detailed electrical engineering drawings

• Create wiring diagrams, connection diagrams, one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, logic diagrams, and conduit/raceway layouts

• Produce complex 2D electrical designs

• Verify drawing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards

• Support field walkdowns and as-built verification

• Support plant modification and installation activities

• Manage multiple electrical design projects

• Resolve electrical design issues with engineering, design, customer, and construction teams

• Deliver electrical design solutions that meet technical requirements and project expectations

Pay: 21-28/hr

Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
