Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
  • Experience with industrial plant engineering projects
  • Experience with mechanical design standards, including OSHA, ASME, ANSI, and ISO
  • SOLIDWORKS experience
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Experience supporting equipment installation, commissioning, and startup
  • Experience with mechanical design, technical documentation, and project execution
  • Experience managing multiple engineering activities or project tasks

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete engineering portions of projects supporting plant roadmap execution
  • Provide daily plant technical support for safety, productivity, quality, and production goals
  • Assist with pre-studies for deployment and development projects
  • Complete design studies for industrial equipment installations
  • Conduct feasibility studies of functional specifications
  • Evaluate project solutions based on cost, milestones, risks, and functionality
  • Follow quality system requirements and established engineering methods
  • Support risk analyses, FMEA, design reviews, quality planning, and nonconformity treatment
  • Support project validation during equipment installation, startup, and ramp-up
  • Facilitate procurement and factory acceptance testing
  • Maintain as-built folders for assigned material and equipment projects
  • Create budget estimates and bid packages for assigned projects
  • Provide project documentation, including mechanical designs, technical offers, safety risk assessments, quality risk assessments, maintenance training documents, operator training documents, and user manuals
  • Lead mechanical contractors or maintenance installation teams during equipment modifications and machine installations
  • Coordinate equipment and material orders for assigned projects
  • Perform equipment acceptance inspections during factory acceptance testing and installation
  • Manage supplier or maintenance installation teams during startup and commissioning
  • Resolve project nonconformities
  • Interface with plant production, maintenance, engineering, and supplier teams to complete equipment installation and acceptance criteria
  • Provide training on new equipment and equipment modifications to plant engineering, maintenance, and operations teams
  • Provide mechanical technical support for plant equipment troubleshooting as needed


Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
