Product Engineer (Sustaining)
Product Engineer responsible for supporting and improving existing electronic and electromechanical products throughout the product lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Engineer, Sustaining Engineer, Design Engineer, or related engineering role
- Experience supporting existing products in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with engineering changes, including ECOs and ECRs
- Experience managing product revisions and technical documentation
- Ability to create and modify engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and BOMs
- Experience troubleshooting product, quality, and manufacturing issues
- Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Experience working with Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing, and customer-facing teams
- Ability to manage small engineering projects and multiple priorities
Preferred Skills
- Electronics product experience
- Electromechanical product experience
- Experience supporting customer-specific product modifications
- Experience maintaining ownership of assigned product lines
- Experience contributing to larger cross-functional engineering initiatives
Job Responsibilities
- Support and improve existing electronic and electromechanical products throughout the product lifecycle
- Manage engineering changes, product revisions, and technical documentation
- Create and update engineering drawings, CAD models, product specifications, and BOMs
- Troubleshoot product performance, quality, and manufacturing issues
- Perform root cause analysis for product and production-related issues
- Implement product improvements related to quality, manufacturability, cost, and performance
- Support customer-specific product modifications
- Maintain assigned product lines and related engineering documentation
- Coordinate product updates with Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing, and customer-facing teams
- Ensure products meet performance, quality, and production requirements
- Manage small engineering projects independently
- Contribute to larger cross-functional product and manufacturing initiatives
Pay Details: $38.00 to $48.00 per hour
