Quality Manager
Summary: Leads manufacturing quality systems, AS9100 compliance, audits, corrective actions, quality performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives within a plastics manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of plastics manufacturing experience.
- Manufacturing quality management experience.
- Experience with AS9100 and/or ISO Quality Management Systems.
- Experience leading internal and external quality audits.
- Experience managing corrective and preventive actions.
- Experience monitoring and reporting quality performance metrics.
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality processes and production support.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
- AS9100 quality system implementation and maintenance experience.
- ISO Quality Management System experience.
- Experience supporting aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
- Experience developing and maintaining quality procedures, records, and audit documentation.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee AS9100 and applicable ISO Quality Management System compliance.
- Lead internal, customer, and external certification audits.
- Manage corrective actions resulting from audits, quality issues, and production nonconformances.
- Monitor, analyze, and report manufacturing quality performance metrics.
- Support production teams with quality-related issues and process improvements.
- Coordinate quality activities across manufacturing, engineering, operations, and other functional groups.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Maintain quality system procedures, documentation, and compliance records.
- Support root cause investigations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes for compliance with established quality requirements.
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
