Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • Associate’s degree may be considered with relevant engineering drawing or CAD experience
  • CAD experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to scan, organize, and prepare drawings for electronic archival

  • Adobe software experience
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Knowledge of engineering drafting standards

  • Experience with legacy drawing conversion or micro-image archival

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily audits of engineering drawings before micro-imaging and archival
  • Review drawings and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and drafting-standard compliance
  • Identify and document drawing errors, omissions, and inconsistencies
  • Communicate required corrections to responsible engineering personnel
  • Verify that identified issues have been corrected before document release
  • Provide guidance regarding drawing standards and print-quality requirements
  • Scan and prepare legacy engineering drawings for micro-image archival
  • Review and manage documentation using Creo, Windchill, SAP, SharePoint, Adobe, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Maintain records of audit findings, corrections, approvals, and verification activities
  • Support engineering teams with drawing interpretation and documentation requirements
  • Apply applicable drafting guidelines, standards, and document-control procedures
  • Confirm final drawings are complete and ready for archival release


Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
