UX Designer
UX Designer responsible for task flows, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, UX documentation, and production-ready design solutions for web, mobile, in-vehicle, or embedded product interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, User Experience Design, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience applying User-Centered Design principles to moderately complex interface challenges
- 2+ years of experience designing user interfaces for web, mobile, or in-vehicle display applications
- Experience developing user interaction task flows
- Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Experience creating final production-ready designs
- Experience applying usability standards and human factors methodologies
- Experience planning, coordinating, and executing UX design activities
- Experience supporting UX validation activities
- Experience conducting or supporting usability testing
- Experience creating and maintaining UX design artifacts and documentation
- Experience translating customer needs, business objectives, and technical requirements into design solutions
- Experience working with UX design and rapid prototyping tools
- Proficiency with at least two tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, or InVision
Preferred Skills
- Portfolio demonstrating visual design, interaction design, task flows, prototyping, and user-centered design work
- Figma experience
- Sketch experience
- Experience using UX metrics, usability data, or user research to influence product design decisions
- Knowledge of accessibility standards
- Knowledge of visual hierarchy
- Knowledge of information architecture
- Knowledge of brand-driven design systems
- Experience creating storyboards, user journeys, workflows, and prototypes
- Experience designing interfaces for construction, agriculture, off-highway, or industrial equipment applications
- Experience with in-vehicle displays
- Experience with machine controls
- Experience with embedded user interface systems
- 2+ years of experience collaborating with engineering, software development, marketing, or business stakeholders
- Experience communicating design solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of product development processes
- Experience in technology-driven development environments
Responsibilities
- Develop user interaction task flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Create UX designs for new and existing products
- Apply user-centered design principles, usability standards, and human factors methodologies
- Plan, coordinate, and execute UX design and validation activities across multiple projects
- Conduct and support usability testing before and after product development
- Validate design decisions through usability testing and user feedback
- Create, maintain, and update UX design artifacts
- Maintain UX documentation and system-level design standards
- Translate customer needs, business objectives, and technical requirements into user-centered design solutions
- Make design recommendations related to product features, workflows, navigation structures, and user interactions
- Collaborate with software developers, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle
- Ensure implemented features align with UX requirements, design specifications, and usability goals
- Develop process improvements for UX workflows and methodologies
- Contribute to UX best practices and design standards across project teams
- Support accessibility, visual hierarchy, branding, and interface consistency
Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
