Manufacturing Associate responsible for operating production equipment, following SOPs, supporting product quality, maintaining safety standards, and performing plant production tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Recent manufacturing or production experience preferred over general warehouse experience
  • Experience as a Manufacturing Associate, Machine Operator, Production Operator, or similar production role
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures related to safety, quality, security, and operations
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures
  • Ability to operate equipment and perform trained production tasks
  • Ability to monitor multiple processes at the same time
  • Basic math skills with ability to apply math in a work environment
  • Ability to understand and follow posted facility signage
  • Understanding of lockout/tagout procedures
  • Familiarity with standard operating procedures and operator manuals for safe equipment operation
  • Understanding of hazard communication policies
  • Ability to use required PPE for assigned tasks
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of safety rules and regulations after training through written or verbal examination
  • Required vision of 20/20 or corrected 20/20
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, and kneel
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical work under varying climate conditions
  • Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a plant environment with varying temperatures and physical requirements
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment and perform production tasks as instructed or trained
  • Follow standard operating procedures, company policies, and safety regulations
  • Use proper PPE for each assigned task and maintain PPE in safe working condition
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process
  • Notify supervisors of potential out-of-compliance quality issues
  • Perform startup and shutdown activities as directed
  • Participate in cross-training across production line positions
  • Maintain accurate counts and production documentation for products produced or used
  • Keep production lines organized, clean, and free of hazards
  • Grease, adjust, or clean specific production line components in support of autonomous maintenance activities
  • Support safety targets established by supervisors and management
  • Train laborers and new Manufacturing Associates as assigned
  • Perform General Laborer duties as needed to meet production needs
  • Attend safety meetings and conduct safety audits
  • Apply lockout/tagout, hazard communication, and safe equipment operation procedures


Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
