ASL Interpreter
Provide American Sign Language interpretation in a machine shop setting to support communication between deaf/hard of hearing employees and other personnel.
Job Requirements:

National certification as an ASL Interpreter (NIC, CI, or CT)

2+ years of ASL interpreting experience in industrial, manufacturing, or machine shop environments

Fluency in both American Sign Language (ASL) and English

Ability to work 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, with occasional overtime

Comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced setting around machinery and equipment

Strong attention to detail and extended concentration ability
Preferred Skills:
-
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and terminology

Understanding of workplace safety protocols

Additional certification in areas such as OSHA or industrial safety
Job Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and timely ASL interpretation during meetings, training sessions, and routine work activities

Facilitate clear communication between employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders

Develop a working knowledge of company procedures, policies, and safety practices

Collaborate with teams to ensure effective and seamless communication

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to interpreting standards and professional ethics
Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
