Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

  • 23 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or inventory management

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and related tools

  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices

  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPSM) preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Experience sourcing suppliers and negotiating purchasing terms

  • Familiarity with transportation and warehousing coordination

  • Ability to conduct and reconcile inventory audits

  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and logistics standards

Job Responsibilities

Purchasing:

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals

  • Evaluate suppliers, obtain quotes, and negotiate pricing and terms

  • Process and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery

  • Track and document supplier performance and purchasing records

  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities

Logistics:

  • Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities

  • Work with third-party logistics providers to meet delivery timelines

  • Monitor and resolve shipment delays, damage, or discrepancies

  • Maintain logistics records and performance metrics

  • Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and standards

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor stock levels and maintain required inventory

  • Perform inventory audits and reconcile differences

  • Update inventory systems and ensure data accuracy

  • Collaborate with internal teams for demand forecasting

  • Implement process improvements for inventory optimization



Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
