Job Description:
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT FOR THE DIRECTOR OF MARKETING.
Proactively seek to improve the productivity of the Director of Marketing and his staff
Calendar: Manage appointments, knowledgeably prioritize meeting requests, assess workload before accepting meetings, proactively note and resolve meeting conflicts, and ensure timeliness of meetings; ensure Marketing Director is prepared for meetings and has any required materials
Tasks:
• Review calendar and work requests, managing priorities and ensuring deadlines are met
• E-mail: Monitor incoming e-mail to identify tasks and prioritize responses; reply to or redirect e-mails on behalf of the Marketing Director
• Travel: Manage travel logistics, including booking air travel, ground transportation, and lodging; prepare travel itineraries and manage meetings schedule
• Documents: Scan and file documents, both physical and electronic; maintain and improve filing system
Other: Prepare expense reports, support human resource-related tasks in Workday
Oversee the cost center:  assist with department budget, including budget planning, comparing actual spend to forecast; ensure entry of staff vacation hours;
 
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience
• Strong administrative skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Service orientation, attention to detail, and thoroughness
