We are seeking 2 SAP Solution Architects for 12 month W2 contracts to work out of Minneapolis, MN OR Denver, CO.   These SAP Solution Architects will support our client's Partnering Through Technology program; managing changes to the SAP system going forward.
The selected candidates should expect
travel approx. 50% of time between Denver and Minneapolis.
These SAP Solution Architects will take on the following responsibilities:
• Defining and implementing an over-arching application strategy, including architecture, design, and roadmaps.
• Development of non-functional and technical requirements, designs, standards and guidelines for end-to-end enterprise applications for various current and new business applications.
• Coordinates software configuration, integration development, and vendor technical activities.
• Works on multiple tasks and initiatives concurrently and applies subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies for business units.
• Makes recommendations on strategic direction and roadmap for the use and implementation of the new and current applications, as well as integration with third party systems to drive productivity improvements, efficiencies, risk mitigation and cost savings for the company.
• Provides technical leadership and architectural direction to IT peers concerning end-to-end lifecycle management of technical solutions and management of the technology footprint.
• Translates functional requirements into technical configuration documents and assesses the impact of new requirements on existing applications.
• Architects solutions to meet functional and non-functional infrastructure requirements while ensuring adherence to architecture principles, policies, reference architecture and standards.
• Creates and maintains architecture design artifacts.
• Provides insight on business area specific technology and how it can be leveraged appropriately to improve the current and future environment.
• Designs processes and solutions for monitoring infrastructure systems' performance and performs capacity planning and analysis to maintain quality of service.
• Leads design workshops, assessments, and planning sessions. Reviews and approves functional and technical designs and develops POCs.
• Coordinates peer-review and software configuration management activities.
• Coordinates and monitors end-to-end technical implementation, including hardware installation, environment setup, production certification, software deployment, integration development, data management, and vendor technical activities.
• Helps coordinate technical resources to support testing activities.
• Serves as liaison to other teams involved in project, coordinating integration work.
• Collaborates with business stakeholders and technical staff on technical solutions and mediates compromises when necessary.
• Facilitate the decision process, requirements, pain points and challenges knowing the relevant industry trends and gains consensus from key stakeholders.
• Works closely with Information Security to ensure adherence to security standards.
• Peer-reviews work performed by peers and vendors and provides feedback in accordance with established architecture standards.
• Interacts with vendors to maintain existing services and to enhance and implement new capabilities.
• Partners with teams in support of internal and external audits.
• Diagnoses business area specific applications including hardware and software and makes recommendations regarding systems performance, capacity, and growth. Participates in and/or manages various process improvement projects to increase operational efficiency.
• Ensures architecture diagrams are current.
• Keeps current with new technologies and programming languages in order to develop secure and cost effective solutions.

SAP Solution Architect requirements:
• Four year degree.
• Previous related experience.
