Job Description:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES -
• Ability to accept a broad tasking in CBRN incident response and develop and execute plans to complete assigned tasks
• Ability to research, write and develop procedures related to CBRN defense
• Act in the capacity of an on-site lead for a contractor team and empowered to make all decisions on all matters within the scope of the contract on behalf of the Contractor
• Management responsibility of their assigned facilities, ensuring the CBRN response infrastructure support systems are maintained in a high-state of readiness
• Provide timely reporting of response infrastructure status to authorized Government staff IAW with established procedures and protocols
• Responsible for all day-to-day CBRN system operations and maintenance including workload planning and work management
• Troubleshoot and restore operations of assigned CBRN response systems and equipment including but not limited to fixed and portable sensor systems
• Interact with senior Government staff in a calm and professional manner to ensure compliance with established operating procedures and prevention of adverse impacts to the facility and other occupants in all operating conditions including life threatening situations.
• Provide technical support regarding the integration of CBRN requirements and solutions into overarching facilities protection and risk mitigation strategies
• Oversee a Radiation Safety Program
• Support the inspection of equipment and training of personnel in the proper operating procedures of CBRN systems
Keys: BS Degree, Active TS/SCI, previous CBRN experience (Chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense)

Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS -
• 8 years’ experience in a combination of CBRN defense operations, planning or instructing
• CBRN incident response instructor experience
• CBRN equipment logistics planning and operations experience, equipment research, requisition, accountability, maintenance, calibration, and sustainment.
• Detailed knowledge of CBRN response infrastructure and equipment operations including but not limited to:
o Strong understanding of CBRN incident response fundamentals
o Ability to read and understand facility and system drawings, diagrams and schematics
o Current working knowledge of CBRN incident response equipment
• Meet “fit for duty” requirements IAW 29 CFR 1910.134 and 29 CFR 1910.120
o Critical, time-sensitive, complex problem solving during physical exertion in stressful, hazardous environments, including hot, dark, tightly enclosed spaces, that may be further aggravated by fatigue and other distractions.
• Ability to professionally interface with clients and possess strong technical writing, speaking, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Radiation Safety Officer certification  
Qualifications -
