Job Description:  
The person hired for the position of Quality Engineer will provide quality engineering leadership and support to the Cumberland Analytical lab, which includes raw material sampling, product testing, test method development and quality system audits. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Providing support for factory experiments, new product introductions, raw material and product qualifications • Providing technical support and ability to operate various test equipment as needed such as FTIR, SEM, Keyence, Bruker… • Monitor production data and use SPC to track, trend and report • Assist with training lab techs on quality procedures • Maintain calibration of test equipment • Perform defect analysis and classification • Assist with compliance to site quality management systems including CAPA and internal audits Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science, engineering, or technical discipline from an accredited university • Minimum (1) one year or experience in a quality related position Preferred Qualifications • Minimum (3) three years combined experience working in a product, quality, or laboratory function • Manufacturing plant experience • Statistical knowledge and practice (Gage R&R, SPC and process capability, Sampling plans, PPU, and lean manufacturing) • Familiarity with ISO9001
 
Requirements:
