Job Description:
This project coordinator position encompasses the core areas of returned product processing and data entry. Global returned product processing includes the receiving and registering returned product in a laboratory setting.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This project coordinator position is responsible for decontaminating returned
products, reviewing/analyzing paperwork returned with the products, and creating
quality records in company complaint handling database. Work is completed
in a team-based laboratory environment following lean processing and Cell
Operating System principles.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handling and decontamination of returned medical devices in a biological safety lab.
• Use of company global complaint handling database to document receipt of product and accompanying information.
• Determination and coding of complaint/non-complaint records.
• Ability to multitask.
 
Requirements:
Top three must haves:
• Must be able to work with explanted product in a biohazard lab (be okay with blood and tissue)
• Must be detailed oriented and have some data entry skills
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficiency with standard desktop PC tools suites
• Demonstrated data entry and data base experience
• Laboratory or clean room experience
• Experience working in a regulated environment requiring adherence to
• policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• High school
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in laboratory, manufacturing or similar product handling environment.
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-year Associates Degree
• 1+ years of experience in the medical device industry
• Experience working in a bio-laboratory and knowledge of safe handling of biologically contaminated product.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Experience working in a Cell Operating System or manufacturing environment
