Job Description:  
• Compiling information and records to prepare purchase orders for procurement of material.
• Searching inventory records or warehouse to determine if material on hand is in sufficient quantity.
• Planning and preparing production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products.
• Drawing up a master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
• Analyzing production specifications and plant capacity data and performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools and human resource requirements.
• Planning and scheduling workflows for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Planning sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
• Conferring with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
• May prepare lists of required materials, tools and equipment.
• May prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools and equipment.
• The successful candidate will possess excellent organization and communication skills with experience in MS Office.
• A Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.), or one (1) to two (2) years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• APICS certification and Manage 2000 software experience preferred.
• Dependability, flexibility to perform "other" duties as assigned, reliable attendance and the required core tasks listed are essential to the job.
