Job Description:
Junior level opening for a Reliability or Risk Engineer with a BS Degree
• This position is responsible for the software and firmware aspects of risk management file remediation.  
• In this role, the Reliability Engineer is expected to apply technical knowledge in planning and executing risk file updates for software-related products or systems.
• This involves areas such as mechanical, electrical, and software systems to understand product/system functions, use environments, and therapy clinical performance.  
• This work is needed to bring legacy risk documentation into compliance with current standards and current Neuro risk procedures.  
 
Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or other technical discipline and 2+ years of engineering experience in a software/firmware technical role, OR
• Master’s Degree in computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or other technical discipline and 0-2 years of engineering experience in a software/firmware technical role
• **2+ years of Medical Device
• **2+ years of Software/Firmware Risk Management
• **File Remediation and strong documentation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in safety, risk management, reliability, or systems engineering
• Experience in medical devices or other highly regulated industry
• Experience working in Systems, Design, Quality, or Operations,
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, software, or data management systems
• Experience leading or participating in risk management per ISO 14971
• Knowledge of reliability tools and practices that effectively support requirements, design, integration and verification, validation, and prediction
• Solid statistics background
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and managing electronic data files
